With a Wayne Keith engine modification, this unit starts easily on woodgas.

Fuel consumptions is about 3-4 gallons of sawdust per hour with light, intermittent loads.

The S-80 was an innovative sawdust gasifier produced by Missouri Gasification Systems circa 1980's. It is sized for up to 20hp air cooled applications.

To keep the power coming, remove the lid, pour in more sawdust, tamp it down, replace the lid.

Dried sawdust never goes stale. It is Nature's own air carbon fuel cell, storing solar energy for use as needed. The sun doesn't always shine, the wind doesn't always blow, smoke always rises.

The wood gas solution is an off grid, off pipeline way to top off PV and wind battery storage banks.
